AIA OA

AIA OA is an ongoing passion project, featuring a collection of vibrant home accessories that easily infuse color into living spaces. The main methods used to create the continuing AIA OA collection is digital fabrication methods, particularly 3D printing and laser cutting.

HAY vacuum

The HAY-inspired vacuum cleaner is a multipurpose appliance designed to match the aesthetic appeal of the Danish brand HAY. The vacuum can work as a cordless lightweight vacuum, hung on the wall, easily accessible for frequent and quick cleanings, as well as a powerful, wired vacuum suitable for thorough cleaning of the entire house.

Cercle Solaire

Planets do not emit light themselves, but they reflect the light from the Sun. This concept has formed the inspiration for Cercle Solarie, an interactive lamp that illustrates central aspects of the solar system.

Cercle Solarie has different stages representing the eight planets in our solar system. When the ring is turned, the lamp transitions through the stages, visualizing the respective planet's color and rotation speed. As the planet rotates, it reflects the light into the surrounding space.

SWIRL

SWIRL is a shape-changing non-humanoid social robot, designed to work as a helping hand to maintain mental tools and good habits, for adults, who have earlier been in therapy because of a mental illness such as stress, anxiety, or depression, in order to prevent relapse. The concept behind SWIRL is that it should be provided by public healthcare institutions, lent to users, and brought into their homes for a limited period.

Cellular plates

Cellular plates is a series of molded ceramic plates designed with inspiration from the organic shapes of cells. The plates are cast in a plaster mold created from a hand-shaped clay model. Each plate is then individually decorated with engobes and glazed with transparent glaze.

bogtex

bogtex is a new book browsing concept for the teenager’s book section, designed in collaboration with Vejle Library. bogtex provides a supermarket-like experience for books, incorporating elements from a grocery store into a library setting. By involving the local teenagers and librarians, though several workshops and interviews the concept was developed to enhance teenagers engagement and interest in literature, by presenting books in more approachable ways as well as in more digestible amounts.

NetTrapez

NetTrapez is an educational tool for the course “Information Studies”, provided in the Danish high school. It is a tangible and interactive product designed for an explorative and collaborative approach to learning about network architecture and data distribution. The product presents a physical representation of the internet and local networks, allowing students to build their own network using building blocks, and then send data with real-time light feedback between servers.

Peanut

Peanut is an interactive lamp designed for group work at tables in public study areas. Peanut is created with the purpose of supporting shifts in group constellations and work modes through interaction with the lamp, thereby altering the intensity and placement of light. The lamp focuses on a collective interaction, and only when multiple group members interact simultaneously the lamp works ideally.
