3D printing is much more than spare parts and technical prototypes. In this workshop, we explore 3D printing as a creative tool for designing both beautiful and functional objects for the home. Participants are introduced to inspiration and examples of designs created with 3D printing and receive guidance on idea generation and basic 3D modeling, as well as tips and tricks for making prints aesthetically refined. Along the way, participants design and print their own small object - for example a vase, bowl, candle holder, or something entirely different of their own creation. The workshop is aimed at anyone with curiosity or interest in design and 3D printing, regardless of technical experience.
